I really like men from Italy?

My grandparents are from Abruzzo Italy.....ever since I was a little girl growing up....... Italian family friends especially young men used to come from Italy and visit their house....For some reason ever since then I have been infatuated with them.....My father is somewhat disturbed because he says they look and act gay with the whole "Metroual thing"......Can someone explain to me why i become so infatuated with them?????
