Would you like this Brewers-Giants trade?

It's a good trade because you will get more out of Fielder than you will Sanchez over the next few years. However, I do agree that Fielder is more the type of his father, Mo Vaughn, David Ortiz, Albert Belle, and other overweight hitters who simply will not have long careers as power hitters. He will hit a wall and he will hit it hard. He's got 3-4 years at most, but those are the years you need him now, as those are the years the Giants window matches. Once Zito's 18.5M contract clears and they free up some of that space that is KILLING them right now on that pesky $90M budget they have, they can hang around in that weak division, but it will have to be done on smoke and mirrors. I would make the move, but only because Sanchez is overrated and I think he will drop off just as bad as Fielder will, but Fielder will help the other hitters around him in the lineup even when he's bad, and when Sanchez is bad, he will simply cost you the game.
