What is involved in getting married in the Catholic church?

A priest will perform the ceremony outside. I've been to one where it was outside. But then again, I live in a very liberal diocese. I think a priest MIGHT perform with a minister of a different religion/denomination. Your fiance would not have to become Catholic, but he would have to take cles to understand the Catholic faith and the Catholic sacrament of marriage. You'd also have to pledge to raise your children as Catholics.
